Jimmy Two Shoes Episodes Run Out The Door!

Mercury Filmworks is thrilled to be working on the wildly raucous and fun series Jimmy Two Shoes for Toronto's Breakthrough Film & Television (Captain Flamingo, Miss BG, Atomic Betty).

Jimmy is an enthusiastic fourteen-year-old boy who was accidently transported to Miseryville. In this strange world, Jimmy, the fun-loving, goody-goody that he is, drives people absolutely crazy since Miseryville is designed to inflict torment onto its inhabitants. The city is run by Lucius Heinous the Seventh, whose main goal is to cause misery to everyone around him.

Since the pre-production kick off in October of 2007, the Jimmy Two Shoes team has worked at a feverish pace readying each of the 26 half hour episodes for post-production. With a dedicated team of over 80 artists working from design through to offline, the series is overseen by Mercury EVP Jerry Popowich (Weird Years, Mischief City, King) and crafted under the direction of award winning animation director Jeff Barker (The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers) and series' creator Sean Scott (Doodlez). Leaving little doubt Jimmy Two Shoes will be yet another success story for the hit-makers at Breakthrough. Gemini anyone?

Currently delivering to post-production on an episode per week schedule, Jimmy Two Shoes will air on Canada's Teletoon, in Europe on Jetix, and across the US on Toon Disney's Jetix block. Be sure to check your local listings early next year for dates and times.
