Mercury Filmworks is excited to be working once again with Cookie Jar Entertainment and Classic Media on the second season of the hit animated series “Gerald McBoing Boing”. With the exception of scripts and post production, the 26 half hour series is produced entirely in-house at Mercury’s Ottawa animation studio over the course of a super -aggressive 48 week schedule.

Gerald McBoing Boing is an animated series that follows young Gerald McCloy, A a six-year old boy who doesn’t speak words but is profoundly articulate in the “language” of sounds – from HONKS and HOOTS to SPLATS and TOOTS. Gerald McBoing Boing shows children that even a boy who speaks in sound can attend school and make friends.

Directed by Chris Labonte, Story Edited by Scott Kraft, Executive Produced by Cookie Jar’s Michael Hirsh, Pamela Slavin, Lesley Taylor, John Vanderveld and Classic Media’s Evan Baily, the series is produced by Toni Stevens, Diane Dallaire, and Clint Eland. Kyle MacDougall also line produces on the series for Mercury Filmworks.
