Mercury Filmworks is please to announce the end of its part in the Universal / Imagine Entertainment feature production Curious George. Playing in theatres worldwide, Curious George, the original "monkey see, monkey do" chimp, is an inquisitive little guy with an insatiable taste for adventure. He sets off in a brand new tale where his spunky and fun-loving nature endears him to new friends he meets along the way and lands him in a series of mis-adventures.
Starring Will Ferrell as the voice of Ted, The Man in the Yellow Hat, Drew Barrymore as Maggie and Eugene Levy as the voice of Clovis, the movie was directed by Matthew O’Callaghan (Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas) and produced by Ron Howard (Cinderella Man, A Beautiful Mind, How the Grinch Stole Christmas).
Over the course of 2005, Mercury’s Vancouver studio provided high resolution scanning and digital paint production for the film under the supervision of Kent McCormick and production manager Jodi Appleton.
