Mercury Filmworks Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary!
Mercury Filmworks is proud to announce that 2008 marks its tenth anniversary

From humble beginnings to industry-wide recognition, Mercury Filmworks has quickly attained a reputation as a creative force whose understanding and application of animation and digital production are second to none.
With several years of experience and knowledge gained from working in the production of children's television and feature film, Clint Eland sought out new opportunities and founded Mercury Filmworks in 1998. The company originated out of Vancouver, British Columbia as a small, three-person operation focused on providing digital services to the animation industry.
With 6 successful years and hundreds of hours of television and film behind the company Eland next turned his sights to Ontario, Canada's largest production centre. In an effort to expand operations and access the province's more prolific production market, Eland formed a new partnership with Ottawa-based animation director Jerry Popowich. Together they would launch Mercury's new head office and studio facilities. The company has since emerged as one of the country's largest and most widely respected production companies, employing a staff of more than two hundred exceptional artists, directors, and producers.
Mercury Filmworks' clientele and partners include some of the finest companies in the world, recognized for their commitment to quality family entertainment. Among others, Mercury is proud to be associated with: BBC, Breakthrough Films & Television, Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network Studios, CBC, Classic Media, Cookie Jar Entertainment, Corus Kids/Nelvana/YTV, Discovery Networks, Disney Television & Feature Animation, DreamWorks Animation, MTV Networks/Nickelodeon, National Geographic, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Bros.
